I learned to scuba dive.  My dear friend Greta and I had our wet suits custom made and the proprietor took photos. 

We were embarrassed, the wet-suits added several pounds to our svelte figures.  But we didn't expect anyone to see the blown up photos in the down-market area where his business was situated.

It took about three days ...

Twiggy and I on Peta Ann sailing in Hong Kong.  Six months later we would sail off on a remarkable adventure together.  I had to do a second-take - my brain said he was holding a mobile phone, it was 1969!

Aberdeen in the 1960s was a thriving fishing village in the South of Hong Kong Island.  Chinese New Year was the only time the whole fleet stayed home and it was a fantastic time to visit and watch all the fun and activity.

You can see a glimpse here of the old Repulse Bay Hotel before it was pulled down after I left Hong Kong.
